Growing up, Rod was captivated by the vibrant world of anime, with iconic shows like *Dragon Ball Z*, *Naruto*, and *One Piece* sparking his imagination and shaping his artistic vision. His love for animation and storytelling naturally led him to pursue formal studies in art at the highest level, where he honed his skills in a wide range of disciplines, from drawing and painting to digital art and animation.
These experiences laid the foundation for his seamless transition into the world of tattooing in 2019. Rod's style is a fusion of multiple influences, blending realism, Japanese tattoo art, neotraditional elements, fine lines, and floral designs. Whether creating detailed, lifelike portraits, intricate Japanese motifs, or delicate line work, Rod brings a unique artistic touch to every tattoo he creates. Outside of tattooing, Rod is passionate about travel and the tourism industry, and he envisions himself working in that field if he were not a tattoo artist.
However, his love for creating art on skin continues to be his primary focus, and he's dedicated to perfecting his craft with each new project. Rod's diverse artistic background and drive for self-expression makes him stand out in the tattoo community.

I came here to get a piece that tells the story of my holiday and travels through New Zealand and Inkee did such an amazing job and was so chill. Next time I'm in the country I'll be coming back here to add to the piece.
I'm from Germany and before I traveled to NZ, I had the desire to get a tattoo. The motive was clear: Jesus, the lion of Judah. So, I wrote emails with Sam and asked them about everything and we finally set up an appointment. When I arrived in store, Sam and Zane were very welcoming. They consulted me and my wife about size and everything. Then Zane started to do his amazing job. My wife and I are still astonished by the incredibly detailed work he did. During the tat process we had a nice conversation and listened to amazing music. The healing process was very good and without any complications. He told me everything of how to care as it was the first tattoo of my life. Finally, I can totally recommend them: not only the expert knowledge was great, but also the warm and loving atmosphere that we sensed. Thank you!
The staff were all very friendly. Me, my husband and daughter wanted tattoos & luckily we were able to get in. I'd highly recommend the Christchurch location.
The service was excellent, and I could even get a free manicure while waiting. The prices are also reasonable. I will recommend this place to my friends. Thanks to the tattoo artist Inkee and the manicurist Grace.

Christchurch branch attended. I rang and they fitted me in within the hour. I have a scar on my back which some are interested to see but I'm not over interested in showing them the whole back. I had a replica of it tattooed onto my wrist. The job was done around 18 months ago and has not faded and remains easily visible. Happy with their work.

We were visiting NZ for 2 weeks and we loved everything about it.
We loved it so much that we wanted to have a permanent souvenir from the trip. We found Zealand tattoo on google and we directly sent an email. The response was so fast and reassuring. We could feel the professionalism.
We shared our ideas by email. Eventually when we arrived at the shop we were able to talk to the artist about our wish and they immediately turn into a tattoo.
It’s very cool that you can share a lot with the artist before doing it. He gave me the final drawing but I also let him surprise me with some detail.
The result was better than expected! I came with a certain idea of the tattoo but I left with completely different tattoo and it was better than I thought.
In conclusion : trust the artist, he knows what he is doing and he doing it perfectly !!Thanks again for everything !!
It was a super great experience. Already the email support was really good. Very friendly and with many many information. When I got to the studio I was 30 min too early. That was no problem at all. Everyone was talking with me and explaining the process and it was no problem to include my ideas in the Polynesian style design.
It just took about 15min for the design (my first free hand design) and another 1,5 hours for the tattoo. Inkee was super focused all the time and he gave me a good feeling while he tattooed.
And the result is beyond my expectations. So nicely done. All the things I wanted to have were included and I feel it really fits. Many details and different styles. It is a bit pricy but absolutely worthy the result ☺️
