What Is Your Booking Process?
We have a simple booking process that makes it easy for you book a tattoo job with us.
Local Canterbury Residents:-
Step 1 – Come into our studio at 158 High Street and discuss ideas with our experienced studio manager. Where necessary an artist will be introduced to help with discussion.
Step 2 – Once the initial idea is cemented then agreement on pricing will be reached. Depending on the tattoo we will require a deposit between $100-$200 to lock in your consultation and tattoo. Once pricing is confirmed you will be booked in for your consultation (discussion of tattoo) if necessary and sitting (application of tattoo) with your artist.
Step 3- Art Design Preparation. Where necessary our artist will work on you tattoo artwork concept.
Step 4 – Artist Consultation and/or Art Approval. Generally the consultation and sitting will be at the same time, but sometimes if the tattoo is large the consultation will involve going over the art concept with you and actual sitting may be on a different day.
Step 5 – Art Application/Tattoo Sitting
Step 6 – Second Sitting/Touch Up Sitting Booked (if needed)
Outside of Christchurch Booking/International Booking Process:-
Step 1 – Find a design that you like. See our website for ideas. www.zealandtattoo.co.nz. Email us at zealandarts.clear.net.nz or contact us via our website to discuss your ideas. If you can attach an example image to the email that would be great.
Step 2 – We will review your idea/s and liaise via email with you to make sure that we understand the sizing, style, design and colour that you require.
Step 3 – Once the initial idea is cemented then agreement on pricing will be reached. Depending on the tattoo we will require a deposit around $200 to lock in your consultation and tattoo. Once pricing is confirmed you will be booked in for your consultation(discussion of tattoo) and sitting(application of tattoo) with artist. Sometimes people want a design only that they can take to their local artist. We can do this and will price accordingly for design only.
Step 4- Art Design Preparation. Where necessary our artist will work on you tattoo artwork concept. or they want a concept emailed to them. In this case we require a substantial deposit to cover the artwork time and to protect our intellectual property.
Step 5 – Artist Consultation and/or Art Approval. Generally the consultation and sitting will be at the same time, but sometimes if the tattoo is large the consultation will involve going over the art concept with you and actual sitting may be on a different day.
Step 6 – Art Application/Tattoo Sitting
Step 7 – Second Sitting/Touch Up Sitting Booked (if needed)
