FAQ’s – Zealand Tattoo – Tattoo Design Cost

How Much Will A Tattoo Design Cost?

There is no standard cost for tattoo design.  If you want a large tattoo design covering a large part of your body, then it will cost more than a small tattoo design.  There are places you can go to get tattoo designs for a bargain, but remember these tattoo designs may not be up to par with those produced by our experienced tattoo artists. Remember your tattoo will be a life long investment so you want to make sure you get a quality design. We recommend that you find an idea of what you like and then pop in to meet our team to discuss pricing up your design. We can also give you an indication of the price of a design via email if you sent us some example images that show your preferred sizing, colour and detail. What Makes You Different To Other Tattooists?

*   Best  Equipment – We only use the best equipment. As with any other industries there is a difference in the quality of equipment used. We only use top quality needles and top quality tattooing machines. This is important for a number of reasons – mainly to ensure hygiene and also to ensure the accuracy of ink when the designs are being applied by the artist.

*   2 Year Guarantee – We have a 2 year guarantee. If at any stage you feel that you are not happy with your artwork in the fact that it needs a touch up or for some reason it has faded, then you can come back to us and we will fix it for you. Even if you damage your tattoo via an accident you can still come in and have it fixed up.

*   Aftercare package – After tattooing we give you our complimentary after care pack to take home. The contents change from time to time, but will include “how to care for your tattoo” information, some aftercare ointment, voucher, sticker and other items.

FAQ’s – Zealand Tattoo – Tattoo Removal

Can I Get A Tattoo Removed?

Tattoos can be removed by laser tattoo removal. In our experience we have heard feedback that the procedure is painful and expensive with many people stopping part way through the sittings as it became too expensive. We suggest that if you have an existing tattoo from another studio that you are unhappy with that you contact us as we may be able to cover it up with a better, preferred design. In our opinion this is a quicker, less painful and less costly way to remove a tattoo that you no longer like. If you have had laser removal and have been left with a blotchy looking area on your skin, contact us to help you with some fresh ideas that you will be happy with for years to come.

FAQ’s – Zealand Tatto, Christchurch – My Tattoo

How Long Will My Tattoo Last?

A tattoo design may start to look different over time.  Tattoos can change where the colours look lighter and lines aren’t as prominent as they were when you first got your tattoo. This would generally happen after a number of years. In this case we offer full touch up services. Our experienced team will “tidy up” any fading by either working on the original piece or by placing a new piece over the top of the original. Obviously your satisfaction is our main priority, so in this case a consultation and talk through with an artist is advised just as you would when getting a new tattoo.
