On Wednesday 13th October, Zealand Tattoo ran an awesome promotion through a great website www.dailydo.co.nz.
The deal? $25 for $150′s worth of tattoo time!
We had 100 of these vouchers up for grabs and they sold out within 3.5 hours! We couldn’t have hoped for a better response to the promotion.
We are now performing tattoos for those 100 very lucky customers, one by one. Whether it be a small tattoo at a total cost of $150 (so only $25 for the customer) or $150 towards a larger tattoo, or re-work of an existing tattoo, one thing’s for sure, it’s a real bargain!
* Remember that appointments must be secured by January 15th 2011 if you are using a Daily Do voucher so get in touch soon! December is also our very busy month and arranging bookings for a ‘specific date and time’ within this month can be very tricky. So it’s worth considering using your voucher in the month of November in order to get a suitable appointment time for yourself… just call or e-mail us to arrange a booking! Thank you!
For those of you that missed out, keep an eye on the ‘Special Offers’ area of our website as every month we run a new promotion.
Please contact TJ on 03 962 6565 or zealandarts@clear.net.nz for details on a special ‘Christmas Gift’ promotion we ‘ll be running… you’ll love it!

If you’ve been following our website recently, you may have noticed that every month we have been offering a promotion of some kind.
October brings you another fantastic offer – “50% OFF Portrait Style Tattoos and 20% OFF any other Tattoo Style“. All you have to do is mention this offer when you ‘Secure your booking” (prior to the actual tattoo sitting) and Print the Offer Page ready to bring to your appointment. It’s as easy as that!
Check out our ‘Black and Grey’ and ‘Ray’s’ Tattoo Galleries to check out some examples of our Portrait/Realism work. A portrait is one of the most difficult and ‘artistically-challenging’ tattoo styles to perform and it is extremely hard to find a tattooist that can carry-out this form of art accurately. But here at Zealand Tattoo we love a challenge and we’ve got it nailed!
So if you have something in mind, come and discuss your ideas with us at Zealand Tattoo, 158 High Street, Christchurch throughout the month of October to receive a MASSIVE 50% OFF your Portrait tattoo!

How Much Will A Tattoo Design Cost?
There is no standard cost for tattoo design. If you want a large tattoo design covering a large part of your body, then it will cost more than a small tattoo design. There are places you can go to get tattoo designs for a bargain, but remember these tattoo designs may not be up to par with those produced by our experienced tattoo artists. Remember your tattoo will be a life long investment so you want to make sure you get a quality design. We recommend that you find an idea of what you like and then pop in to meet our team to discuss pricing up your design. We can also give you an indication of the price of a design via email if you sent us some example images that show your preferred sizing, colour and detail. For ideas check out our galleries by clicking here.

August saw the introduction of Ray Oved of ‘Rayz Ink’ to the Zealand Tattoo Team.
Ray had been running his own tattoo business for 5 years but decided to follow a new path in August. Having thoroughly researched Christchurch-based tattoo studios in search of the best, he found us and approached us with the hope of working at Zealand Tattoo. On viewing his portfolio we quite literally ‘snapped’ him up for an immediate start and saw him as as much of an opportunity to our business as we are to his. Ray has rapidly become an asset to Zealand Tattoo and we are looking forward to a busy summer season with him onboard.
Ray is an extremely skilled tattoo artist, with an exceptionally steady hand his line’s are precise and even. He whips up new and unique designs tailored for each individual client in the bat of an eyelid. Ray’s niche is ‘portraiture’ (the most difficult artform for a tattoo artist), he is so good he has even performed beautiful portraits on his own skin! However, by no means is he limited to this style of art… the last month alone has seen him producing Maori, Samoan, Oriental, Old School, Feminine Ornamental, and Lettering art to name just a few. There is no wonder that Ray has quite a following in Christchurch with client’s asking for him by name on a daily basis.
In short Ray, it is a pleasure to have you working with us at Zealand Tattoo and a pleasure to witness the amazing art that you create every day!
